It's worth it

The only way I can describe this week in one word is tired. Oh so, TIRED! Our whole entire family of 5 got hit with sickness and it literally was horrible. Some got it worse than others.
I was just thinking how important family is. I look at my beautiful babies (mind you they're not babies anymore but will always be my babies) and I can't help but feel God reminding me He intended me to be here with my family. To care for them and just be here. Just be present right now and in the future. God is all about family. He called me to mine, and He called you to yours. He intended you exactly for your family and He never makes mistakes.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another."
I always saw this verse as being in church and meeting together, but I believe that God intended us to be with one another and spurring each other on. He intended us to take care of each other and encourage one another not only in the church but in our homes as well or wherever we go.
I encourage you to take time with your family. Our time was being home sick, and I pray you don't have to be sick to have snuggles like we did this week, but I hope that you can find some time. Some time to spend quality time with the ones God put into your lives. Play a board game, have a meaningful conversation, or go on a much-needed date with your spouse. Whatever that looks like for you do it. They are so worth it and so are you.
Finally, spend time with God. Spend time in prayer and thanksgiving. Spend time talking to him while you're folding that 100th load of laundry. He hears you and He sees you exactly where you are right at this moment.
