What things make you happy? I asked myself this question this morning as I worked out. I felt very happy when we had family visiting for the last couple weeks, when my child holds my hand, and when I spend time with my hubby. All these things are so good but they don't last. Family goes back to their homes after visiting, my child will not always be in my home, and the date will end. God reminded me that my happiness is not found in these fun moments of life. Happiness can also be found in the "low" moments of life as well. As long as my focus is on Jesus. That is where you and I can find true happiness. I encourage you today to enjoy the good, it is good for a reason and you should enjoy it to the fullest but know that God is your joy. When things start to get hard and not go as planned you can lean into your faith in Jesus and that is where you find true happiness in all circumstances.
